3rd Birthday Dump Truck Cake

Tomorrow will add chocolate donuts for wheels. Used a new recipe for fondant, vegetarian of course, using agar flakes. Worked really well and am super pleased to have created a fondant that will cooperate in Florida humidity.

Vet cake

So...our littlest kitty, Rhonda, got really sick. We both thought there was no way she would pull through, but I started stressing out so much while we were waiting in the beginning to find out what was wrong, I got sent to the kitchen. It was great relief and we gave this to our vet. Along with $2500...but the kitty is wonderful.

Biggest pain in the ass cake...ever

Yeah, try making a swan neck with homemade modeling chocolate and rice krispy treats. You will cut yourself afterwards. Then when your lovely spouse comes up, right as the cake is finally acceptable, and grabs the head to look at it, leaving a big dent in the top....lets just stop writing here.
